Thankful Thursdays!

This Thursday I am thankful for my relationship with Jesus Christ ......

...... that i can be myself and He still loves me

...... that i can tell him off and He still loves me

...... that He listens to my hurts and pains and still loves me

...... that He has created me in His imagine and loves me no matter what

...... that He is a mountain moving God who loves me

...... that I can go to Him in my darkest hour and tell Him truly how I feel and He loves me

...... that I can tell Him that I am mad at Him and He still loves me

...... that He knows I am not perfect and He still loves me

...... that He walks with me, by me, and carries me through out life and still loves me

...... that He sees my failures and still loves me

...... that no matter what HE LOVES ME!

He is my Jesus, my Savior, my Father and no matter where I go or what I do nothing will separate me from His love! I pray that everyday I will remind myself that He STILL LOVES ME and nothing will ever change that! Thank you Jesus for dying on the cross for my sins and STILL LOVING ME!

What Are You Teaching Me Lord!

This week has been a very long and tiring week at work! Plus there is a lot that God has been showing me about myself! A lot that He is trying to teach me about where I am in my life! I was reading a devotional book yesterday that was talking about how we view God as our (Lord)! How we use Lord so flippantly in times where we "feel like" He is Lord over our lives but what about the times when we don't ALLOW Him to be Lord over our lives! When we say I will never do this or I will never do that! Saying that God is LORD over your life means more than just a word it means that He is Lord over you everything about you! Here is what the Webster's dictionary definition of LORD is 1: one having power and authority over others, a ruler by hereditary right or preeminence to whom service and obedience are due. So allowing God to be Lord over my life means that He is Lord over everything! I can not say you can be Lord as long as this it is this or as long as it is that or put restrictions on what I will or will not do! I have to trust that He has the best things in life for me! That He knows my deepest desires and my deepest dreams and wants them to come to true! But in His timing not in mine! I have to stop putting boundaries on what God (Lord) can do in my life and in what time frame and instead allow Him to take full control! To listen to His voice and know that He is speaking to me! That He loves me no matter what and that He has only the best in mind for me! This is going to take time for me because I am a check list type of person! If God could just give me a check list and say when you have completed this list I will bring you a husband or I will fulfill all your dreams. I would be so happy and excited to see all the things get checked off and have my dreams come true. But He is not a God that gives me To Do lists He is a mountain moving God who in HIS TIMING will bring the man of my dreams into my life and in His timing my dreams will come true not when I finish a To Do list! Here is the prayer that is on my wall calender this month..... Lord, help me to be content where I am right now on Your path for my life. I know you are always growing me into Your likeness and will not leave me where I am forever. Here is the verse for this month on my calender as well "Godliness with contentment is great gain."1 Timothy 6:6 How amazing is our God that in a time where He is teaching me about allowing Him to be Lord over my life this verse and this prayer is what I look at every morning before I get out of bed and every night before I go to sleep! How Great is our God! So my challenge to you as well as to me is .... Are you allowing God to be Lord over your life with no limitations or are you putting Lord in a box?

Today I am thankful for my roommate(s) past and present..... (Laura, Kristin, Perla, Amiee, and Blair)

I am THANKFUL FOR.....

~ a family apart from my biological one

~ the friendships built

~ the late night talks

~ the dress up nights

~ and even the dress down movie nights

~ the openness and honesty

~ the lasting relationships

~ the growing we did together

~ the accountability

~ the love and commitment

~ the trust

~ being able to watch each other grow up

~ going through life changes (boyfriends, marriage, and babies)

~ sharing boyfriends (w/ Laura lol)

~ sharing a room for the first time

~ big jet tubs

~ memorize that will always be remembered

~ Christmas exchange

~ Parties we had

~ Pillow fights

~ Sharing Bathrooms and showers

~ Trying to get ready at the same time in the same bathroom

~ Working together

~ Walking to work together

~ Hugs good night or good morning when they where most needed

So to you Krisis, Laura, Perla, Amiee, and Blair thank you for sharing your lives with me. You are all such amazing women of God. I am blessed to know you and having the privilege to live with you through thick and thin.

Kids Say the Funniest Things (part 2)

Okay so here are a few more things that I have thought of!!!!

* So my co teachers dog is names "Tucker" and one of our little boy's dads works for her husband so their families are pretty close. So one day we where playing a rhyming game and guess what this little boy wanted to rhyme with..... "Tucker" and I bet you all know where he went with this one. So he started Tucker, Trucker, Sucker, and then F...er. And the bad part is this little boy knows better but it was still to funny.

* One of my little boys was playing with cars one morning and another little boy came over and took one of the cars. So of course I had him go give it back and apologize. After a while I heard the little boy who got the car taken from him singing "Its to late to apologize its to late"! Oh my goodness it was to funny.

* Okay so today I was teaching in the Kindergarten room and decided to play I Spy with my kids. So I started and said I Spy with my little eye something that starts with "B". So the kids started guess a blue crayon, blue chair, books, than one little girl said kitchen. To which I replied does kkkkitchen start with "B" and she said no but if it did it would be "bitchen." She was so sweet and innocent to but man was it so funny! I almost peed my pants because she was so innocent and it sounded so funny!

Kids say the Funniest Things (part 1)!

So most of you know that I am a preschool teacher and as a preschool teacher hear things from your kids that you don't necessarily want to know! However they are still very very funny! So this is just a reminder to all of you parents YOUR KIDS ARE SMART AND THEY REPEAT EVERYTHING!

* When I taught the 3 year olds I had a little girl who was washing her hands at the sink after going to the bathroom there was a little boy in the bathroom and she was looking at him in a curious way! Just then said my daddy doesn't have one of those pokey things.

* One day I was sitting at the table coloring with another one of my little boys and we where talking about what pj's we wear like spider man and princess and one of the little boys decided to tell me that his daddy does not wear pj's or underwear to bed!

* I have a little girl who told the class during circle time that her dad told her before bed that she could not fart or pull jelly beans out of her nose.

* I was rubbing a little boys back during nap time and laying next to him when he patted my boobs and said big boobies!

* Today I was driving with a friend and her two kids when out of the blue her little boy said my peanut it hard mommy. I was like okay what is that so she asked how does it get hard when he proceeded to tell us that it is when he sits down or gets in the bath tub. Then I light turned on it was his private part that he was calling a peanut. Man I almost peed my pants! lol

Sleepy Dreams!

Okay so for all of you blogging pals I want to tell you that last night I had a dream about blogging no joke. I had to get up this morning to check if i had really blogged or not! My dream blog was about this weeks Bible story at the preschool which was Jesus Loves the Children. In my dream I had this really profound blog about Jesus Loving the Children. I hope that I will be able to remember it because I woke up crying after I had the dream. But to make a long story short I just wanted to let my blogging addicted friends know that I had a dream about blogging, A DREAM ABOUT BLOGGING if that is not addicted I do not know what is lol!
