Update on Brooke!

Okay so here is what is going on with my cousin Brooke! Last week they did several tests on both her lungs and her heart. Then they had to wait till Tuesday to hear the results of the tests! She was moved to high priority on the transplant list and is waiting for new lungs. The good news is that the test that they did on her heart came back good so at this point they are not going to need to do a heart transplant. They are hoping that once she gets her new lungs that her heart will be just fine.

They released her from the hospital on Tuesday however her and her husband are staying in a hotel for a few days just to make sure that Brooke is okay to go home! The transplant surgery can be any minute, hour, or day! So please pray with me that they will find a donor sooner the later! They have to match the blood type as well as the lung size! Once the surgery is done they will have to stay in San Diego for 3 months so that she can have regular check ups and so that the doctors can keep a close eye on her. They live in Apple Valley which is about an hour and a half to two hours from San Diego!

Brooke and JJ are both doing as well as can be expected. They both have high hopes and know that God is in control! Please pray for patients, trust, faith, and understanding. As well as for their marriage that Satan will have no foot hold during this difficult time! They are both such strong people who love God so much!

Prayerful Fridays! (Matt)

This Friday along with many other things I am praying for my brother Matt! He and I are very close! We have been close since I was really little! He is having a really hard time right now with his job! He is a hard worker and he loves his job! His boss has been saying some stuff that is not true and is trying to get him to either quite or be fired! Matt loves his job and does not want to leave! He wants to do whatever God wants him to and he just need clear direction! Would you please pray with me for his stress level, for clear direction, for faith, and for trust! Pray that God's will be done is this situation and that Matt can be a light in his work place!

Prayerful Fridays! Joshua Gulvas

On Tuesday a young man the age of 21 was hiking in the woods with his dad when they got separated! They came here to Durango to help the Master Plans College Ministry camp that we have here. The dad looked for him till nightfall and then came into cell service to report his son missing. As far as I know they still have not found him. They have search and rescue looking for him as well as dogs helping. The temp has dropped really low the last few nights. They are searching through pretty thick mountains.

Please pray with me.....

* For Josh that he is safe and okay and that he can feel Gods peace and comfort

* For his Dad that he will not feel guilty and for peace

* For Joshua's family for peace and comfort

* For the searchers that they will hear Gods voice and be directed to find Josh as well as

* For the safety of all the search and rescue works

Prayerful Fridays!

Wow can you believe that it is Friday already??? This week has gone by super fast! :) Along with praying for Jubilee still I have been praying for a struggling with something.

I have been really missing my family lately! I have been missing family nights and snuggles on the couch with my daddy! So I have been praying a lot about this! I am not mad at God for the way my life is right not because I have a lot of amazing things happening in my life right now I am just really missing my family! I miss family nights and road trips! When I was little I hated them but now that I am all grown up I miss them! I wish I would not have taken them for granted so many years ago! I guess the saying in true that you don't know what you have till you have lost it!

I have been having a really had time with my mom lately! It is not that I don't love her or support her in getting healthy it is just that I feel like I have been taking care of her for so long! I really wish I had my mom who could listen to me and help take care of me! So for right now I have decided not to talk to her which to be honest has been really hard! I miss her so much however I miss my mom who I grew up with not my mom who has been around for the last 5 years.

So my prayer this week is that God will restore relationships with the family I do have and that He will continue the healing process in all our lives! I know that God has HUGE plans for my life and for my families lives I just pray that we will be able to walk through life together!

There are so many things to be praying for so I decided to start PRAYERFUL FRIDAYS! Each week I am going to let you, my blogging friends know about something big that I am praying to God for and I will ask you to pray along with me! :) Then in turn if you would like to make a post about something big you are praying for I will pray along with you! :) Sounds like fun huh? :) Lets begin to be prayer partners for each other, and watch our mountain moving God work on our behalf's! Let the prayers begin.

A dear family who I am close to are in the process of adopting a little girl they have named Jubilee from Ch*na. They have been in the process for over a year now, got the approval for the adoption and this week where told that Ch*na had withdrawn their approval for them to be Jubilee's parents. This family has 6 adopted children who live in their home right now! They are amazing parents who love every single one of their 9 (soon to be 10) children. Jubilee is a sweet little girl who is waiting for her mommy and daddy to come and hold her in their arms and take her HOME FOREVER. As I sit here and read this tears fill my eyes to think of this sweet, precious, miracle big girl who is sitting over in Ch*na wondering when her family is going to come!

So this is my question for you.... Will you please join me in praying for Jubilee. Pray that God will change the hearts of the Ch*nese government and that Jubilee will get to come home to her family soon. Pray that God will touch Jubilees heart and give her peace in knowing that God is working the night shift on her behalf and that He has an amazing family coming to get her soon. Pray that this amazing family will continue to stand strong and believe in Gods might hands that can move mountains. Pray that God will continue to bring their hearts and Jubilees heart together and that His Will, will be done!
